This song was first conceived by Sean Cahalin and David Roso when David exclaimed, "Sean, your coil is always slightly burnt" to which Sean responded, "we should make that a song title." So we DID!

Later in the chill sesh, David and Sean were telling each other funny stories, one of which stood out above all else.
Legend has it that David decided one day at 3 am that he wanted a meatball sub. The only place to go for a meatball sub at 3 am is Wawa. David drove to Wawa and got his meatball sub, however, he had a predicament. His meatball sub was very hot but oh, so desirable. David decided to drive home while holding his meatball sub out his window, y'know, to cool it down. Well when David got home, he was yet again, in another predicament. It had appeared that David had a lot of meatball sub splattered all over the left side of his car.
And the rest is, as they say:
History.

lyrics

Lyrics:

Never thought I'd fall as hard
as when I fell out of my car
waiting for things to go dark
I don't know where we are
my body went numb
you might think it's dumb
but I thought that I would die
does that sound like a lie to you?

It's 3 am
I can't sleep
I went to Wawa
so I could eat
a meatball sub
and I can smoke
maybe now I won't
be so low
I'm out of nicotine
out of THC
how much more useless
could I be
my coil's burnt
why won't anything work
I should've known
my battery was low

too bad I crashed my car
no need to wash it anymore
I don't know what to say
I just wanna stay
in bed today

and this buzz hasn't even
gotten me through the day
and I'm trying to figure out
what you could possibly have to say
everything is tired
and everything is boring
I can't comprehend
why I'm even worrying
anymore

my brain is melting
my heart is pounding
sweat is dripping
wish I could've done something
my food is too hot
broke the vape I just bought
could you chill out?
I'm going through a lot right now

It's 3 am
I'm on the ground
I need a lift
can't make a sound
it all went so fast
these things never last
feels like I can't breathe
help me please
out of nicotine
out of weed
I can't get up
I think I'm fucked

too bad I crashed my car
no need to wash it anymore
I don't know what to say
I just wanna stay

too bad I crashed my car
no need to wash it anymore
I don't know what to say
I just wanna stay in bed all day
all day
all day
all damn day
